I am going. Pass is for fri, sat AND Sunday night. Need to pack big tent and call/msg re menue choices. Pack & go soon. Been working on XS1100 - tinkering, riding, shining, riding...

Much strong recommendation has been made about which bike to ride. I was agreeble when Swambo said "You need to get a new bike". Now she says I should ride it.

Tonight XS is all shined up and battery is weak; ERR err - no start. So if you see a Black Harley Davidson Electraglide police bike, (looks like a street glide at a distance having no tour pack box, says police in small letters on the air cleaner box.) And if there are cigars in the dash where a radio would usually be found, That is most like my ride for this rally weedend.

Is there a roster / list of those planning to attend?

    Looking forward to it.
It is a great big beautiful world out there

    • It doesn't have blue and red flashing lights does it?

I'll be bringing you an air mattress Brent, so you don't have to sleep on the kiddie floatie toy.

Bob, John, Ryan and I will be there Friday afternoon. Looking forward to it and seeing everyone.

      • Sunday pm meal

How about waiting to figure out Sunday Meal until they get Fri and Sat straightened out first?

I-H as in past years will offer a Sunday if there is demand. And they normally talk with us about it Friday night when we get setup. That's the normal drill. If weather is good and more people stay over Sun night AND want the convienence of an IH dinner then they will accommodate us.

Everybody bails or goes 'to town' for dinner then IH will not have a dinner.

        • Not meaning to be a PITA but if it's paid for in advance, as is the normal practice, what's the difference?

I know we foraged for ourselves in 2012 and I missed Sunday dinner in 2013. Just curious. That is the norm?

Just checked the area forecast along our route going there...

All looks good, highs around 80, lows mid 50's...mostly dry, with the exception of return day Monday...
              NC and TN looks wet.

But looks good for the weekend!

              Connie's ready.

I got my menu email from IH today. Tried to fill it out, but couldn't. Guess it's a Windows format? I got a Mac...
So, I typed it up and emailed it to them.
Think I'll call to confirm they got it.
              Bob
              Hi Bob,
I could not fill in the menu thing either and I am running on Windows.
Forecast looks very warm. Dificulkt to know what to wear

You only PAY for what you eat. Breakfast card gets turned in each night. Dinner can be chosen if you want Fri only for now. Then let them know Fri or Sat AM what or if you want Sat dinner. Its not really paid in advance. If you order something and then don't show, well then that was a problem.

I've NEVER seen a Sunday dinner posted because the Sunday night crowd is tough to predict. The more people that want Sun dinner the more they get fancy with the offering.
No interest - they don't put on a meal. So far, that's been the NORM ................

                • Greg~
                  Yep...I'm ready!
Planning on leaving out @6:00 am to meet you @ Ollie's by 6:30.
                  You're buyin'... right? Cool...thought so.

                  Brent~
                  You got a black Harley?
                  Where's the red one?

Personally, I'd be putting a battery in that XS if it were me!
I'd think it would be a whole lot more fun on the Dragon than the HD's.

Scraping pegs on an XS sounds like a lot more fun than scraping pegs on a Harley!

See ya there, Brent. Ride safe.

11C in AM, chilly in the Mtns, then a bit on the hot side at least for Saturday. Probably need a parka going back to Canada thought.

I filled out the Menu OK and sent it back. All with Google Docs. You see the Menu is *.xlsx excel. If you open it with Google Docs but don't have Google Docs account then that is likely a problem. Alternative: you can select the DOWNLOAD option. However if you Download it you likely need a Excel 2010 or Excel 2013 to run it. Or as Bob did, just send an email, show the Day, Your Name and What you want off the menu.

Yeah, you have to screw around in there in the options then finally you can copy it and paste it to an email. It's always been a PITA for me too.

I agree, Phil! Looks like the temps will be almost the same as here in Oklahoma.

Thanks for letting me know that about the menu.
I tried at first to fill it out on my Ipad4. It wouldn't pull up the keyboard when I'd touch the screen. Gave that up, and went to my Imac.
After a while wrestling with it to no avail, I finally just typed it all up in an email and sent it. It wouldn't even let me copy/paste it to the email...?

Usually when I run into that, it hasn't been sent in the proper format...
Or it's a Windows program my Mac doesn't co-habitate well with.

If it won't work for you in Windows either, it must be sent out in the wrong format then.

I tried a few times to call them this evening to verify they got it, but only got their answering machine. No return call yet.
                            Maybe tomorrow...

                              Hey Jeff,
                              I have 2013 Excel...for Mac.
It filled in the info in the blocks, and would let me type in my selections, and name. I even printed a copy off. But, that was as far as I could go.
Trying to copy it, then paste it in their email document failed.

But, I'm still trying to get used to my IMac. It's a bit different...even different than the IPad4 or Iphone 5S. OSX Mavericks is pretty cool in a lot of ways, but can be frustrating at times, too. Especially for an old Windows user, like me! Lol

I plan to just send an email with my selection. I might have to try the biker chick My computer would not open the download and I could not fill it in online.
