Hi Ron,
I will be joining I81 at either Wytheville or Marion depending on how far I get on Thursday night. However trying to co-ordinate a meeting place with such diverse start points is virtually impossible.
Addie and I will be " hurrying along" but probably hours behind you

For the first timers. If you use a GARMIN GPS the entrance is about 200 yards past the "you have arrived" At least it is on mine. This is only an issue if you arrive in the dark like I did the first time

Found A travel buddy EarlG and I will be leaving a little early Phil you are right meeting in Martinsville would have been a little tricky and with the ride you have hunting around is not best use of time. Earl and I will see you there and probably ride back with you to that point like last year.

I've teamed up with EarlG a number of times...he is a good rider and we rode together well...you'll be doing 80 alot...but as you know VA is notoriusly strict on speeders...be careful

What time will the touring rides be leaving out on Sat. Morning?

I keep thinking of riding up for the day. If I leave around 7AM I could be there by 9:30~10....

Full schedule is on page 17, post #246. Says we head out Sat at 9:05 am so you will have to leave home just a wee bit earlier to get there on time.

Sidestands up at nine AM. We have a lunch reservation for 50 in Etowah, TN. Pack your tent and come Friday. You won't regret it!
