I show up at the Iron Horse @ 07:30 all gassed up and ready.
Nobody Showed up. I expected to see 20+ XS11's and 30+ other bikes.
Waited a couple hours then took off.



Finally realizing my mistake, now I'm on a mad dash to make it to the 'other' Iron Horse.

I put this rally on XS650.com. I think this one is going to fit right in!

I thought this might be fun. Looks like I will make the XS East Rally this coming weekend and the cat will be out of the bag then...so what the heck.

Your hard bags are actually a pair of Coleman's cheapest coolers!

These started out as a joke.....6 years ago. Since then they have been mounted on three different bikes, traveled through 7 states and this will be their 10th camp out. I do take them off once I get set up.....and actually use them as coolers!!!

Okay.....yes, I have to much times on my hands this morning.

Hope all of you on this side of the world are enjoying what's left of the summer.

For us moon gazers

Three things will be going on with the moon the night of 27th.
First, the moon will be at it's perigee (closes pass to the earth in it's elliptical orbit) in 30 years.
Then there will be a lunar eclipse the same night into the morning.
The third is the moon will pass through the earth’s shadow at just the right angle to produce a red hew known as a Blood Moon.
The combination of these events is known as a Superbloodmoon Lunar Eclipse.
Much of our view will be low in the eastern sky.
Folks out west will miss it, sorry, I did my best to include you but I have limited influance.
