ROOMS GOING FAST!

I just called Keith and made my reservations so I'm in. He said the hotel is filling up fast. He has our group plus a wedding party. Should be an interesting mix. XS wedding crashers!
If you are planning on attending the rally, I suggest you make your reservations soon.

Glad your gonna make the rally, its been awhile like xseast 2002 thunder in the islands, and as I recall it did thunder that weekend.

I stopped at the motel today and I booked the "Little House", it has 2 two bed rooms in the upstairs (each with private bath but no fridge) and it has two rooms with 1 full and 3 twin beds. I took the last room with 1 Q and one twin. Soooo is anybody willing to swap over to the 'little house' from your current room? It is located near 'the hill' next to the road.

The wedding party came in a took (blocked in) all the remaining rooms (for now) so this gains us 12 people. The rooms we vacate will stay with the XS11 group.

If you are willing to share a room with 3 other guys or have 4 in your group this may be a way to save some $$ over renting two rooms.

The upstairs rooms are available now (the 2 two bed rooms) and will be called the penthouse suites from now on.

Ron Christoff - you emailed about a room, call back and grab one of these or get the room I vacated in the main hotel.

I need to know who wants rooms in the "Little House" so I can go up and manually switch you.

Just something to talk about....

I made reservation at port Lodge fri, sat, & sun for a room with 4beds I believe it is in "Little house near hill". for myself, Marty H. and 2 daughters Leanne and Kendall.

HD has new exhaust header, new timing chain and tensioners. (extended warranty)

XS1100 content - it just needed some "winter air" added to tires and is ready to go.

Hey Doug,

You can hook up with me, Bruce and David. We will be going the NB to Quebec to Ontario route on the way up. We are not sure if we will leave on Wednesday or Thursday. Will let you know. Depends on work shifts, vacation time,etc.

planning long ride to this rally.
Daughter, Leeanne wants music or tunes to play in her helmet. Any suggestions? I heard of MP3 players. She is looking at I-Pod.

She did not get good reception with a AM/FM transistor radio, was not interested in portable cassett player, and I did not even try to sell her on the old 8 track tape player.

Let me know of suggestions.

The I-Pod is the favorite of the teeny bopper crowd. The "Nano" I think, is still the least expensive and holds about 250 songs. I think if Dad is buying she should be happy with that one.

Dena has an Ipod Nano and it seems to work fairly well, not waterproof but the do make covers that are. The nice thing about Ipods is the amount of aftermarket stuff made for them. Ipods control 85% of the mp3 player market (I think I read this the other day). I have a Samsung Nexus that also does XM radio, I may try to hook it up on the Trophy in the spring but right now I don't want to pay for the subscription. They make 2 different Nanos 2 gig and 4 gig I think, If you get the full size I pod it does video and has a huge hard drive. It costs twice as much though.
