Giving high mileage bike some love. Now ran when parked?

I recently picked this up. BAM.

I replaced both pickups. One had a broken wire right at the housing. Once again, it runs on four cylinders. At least, on the lift. This ignition advance is really wonky. I’m sure my bike has a lot more years and miles than were ever intended.

What is the mileage? Yamaha really over engineered these you know. I believe a well-cared for engine can make it at least 200K.

I'm sure it also depends on riding style too.

I’m on my third speedometer. I think I went over 100,000 a few years ago. It fired right up on the lift. No smoke. I believe I fixed two leaks or I hope I did.

Thanks Ray! I believe I have at least one of those if I need it.

I let it sit a few days with 20 ml of MMO on top of each piston. I also found spark plug gaps way too fat. It fired right up after this last fix. I hope I can give it a good run this coming weekend.
