Nice start to the special!!! I noticed the speedo cable is off. I would pull the speedo, turn it upside down, and add a little oil into the cable slot. The cables start to break when the speedo gets old and start to stick, DAMHIK....

Finally got birthday pic of my XS11. Got the exhaust fixed so she smells better, and got a replacement gasket for my gas cap from Steven Smith [Ssmith377@socal.rr.com]. Lookin good in the neighborhood.

That is really nice! Looks like it cost you alot. I'd love to get a set of shocks like that for my bike. Any info? Who makes them? How did you get them?

Thank you for the compliment. The shocks are Progressive brand 412 series I believe. I got them used on eBay for $76 I think. They're for a Harley so I had to grind down the XS shock studs and then use a sleeve that fit just right inside the shocks.

I did everything in my garage and I've got about $3000 invested.

Have a look at Triumph Rocket III screens. Mate at work has one, looks great and looks like it should bolt up pretty easily.

Mine I used to love the bobber look, but I'm in the proces of stockpiling parts to bring her back to stock (seat, airbox and rear shocks) and I'm looking for either clubman bars or dare I say clip-ons toying with the idea of a cafe.
