Wow! That actually looks pretty cool. I like the swirl rims in black, very different.
Good job, Man! If you ever put dark carb caps on and want to part with the gold ones, drop me a line. Jon

It depends.
I think it's a great job and so will most people!
If you're riding along minding your own business one day and after crossing a certain bridge you get a chance to meet a 6ft rectum with a RADAR gun then it's a felony.Leave a comment:

The frame was an orphan, abandoned and FORD, SH #s were tig welded over, smoothed and LH #s script matched with identical case then stamped into neck to match up with LH engine and title.
You tell me what it is if I did not tell you ?
Matching case # stamps are available on loan to anyone that might need them. They will be used to match up a good friends donor frame XS650 at some later date, so I do need them back.
Any one need them please SPEAK UP !
I went many miles to find some that matched the original style/size, saves you the foot work I went through.Last edited by donebysunday; 05-22-2017, 05:09 PM.Leave a comment:

[QUOTE=donebysunday;498652]what my LH has morphed into when frame and other parts are swapped with a SH.
That's really good, the gold parts totally stand out!
Erm, doesn't changing the frame make it an SH with LH parts and a different title?Leave a comment:

base color. It's a Ruby Red. Ford's recent Ruby Red. Planning on an Ivory front side half, similar to the silver & black original tank.Leave a comment:

The paint has a blue pearl in it. It's Black under normal light but when the sun hits it, it explodes with blue metal flakes.
I couldn't be happier. It's like the 81 Special paint but more metallic
Maybe a sidecar wouldn't be a bad idea.
