What's with the hand shifter mod?

Thanks, I put a lot of work into her, but it was a labor of love.
I kind of enjoy riding with the jockey shift, but could never get the hang of a foot clutch on a bike, so the lever went onto the shifter. It's all bolt on and can be reverted to original in just a few minutes.

Just bought this bike about a month and a half ago. Hoping to do some work, but not mechanically inclined, so I will need some help...

Got the bike out for a quick ride in between snowfall last weekend. The photo is a little arsty, but it does hide how dirty the bike actually is!

I have put all work on hold until the weather warms up in the late spring.

Just finished the paint, drilled out the lower fairing mt holes and installed led running lights. Its an ongoing project.

I do like your LED running lights. I might follow your example
I am trying to keep mine looking original. If I ever get the electrics sorted out i'll add some LED lights.

It is no longer my bike (I gave it to my son-in-law) It can be seen running around Duluth Minnesota... in nice weather anyways.


I have three XJ1100s that I am working on + putting a faring on my 80LG so0 more picture in the (hopefully) near future.
