Fork Gaiters
Also, IIRC, the accessory fork gaiters available from Yamaha for a 2014
Yamaha Star Bolt are a direct/perfect fit for our Elevens.
$36.99 -- Part# 1TP-F31E0-V0-00
As to their quality, I have no basis whatsoever to compare them with the
high-quality Daystars that Mark (650mark) has, but I'm sure they would be
reliable.Leave a comment:

local bike shop. the brand is daystar, cost about $20/pair. don't even consider the ones sold by mikesxs. they are junk, btdt mine lasted about 2 months then fell apart. these daystars are great qualityLeave a comment:

Very nice Mark!
The fork boots would be a great solution to covering up the rust on my '80 Special. Where did you get them?

rain? we don need no steenkin rain!yeah, we don't get it often but when we get it we get drenched. one day in october I got 3" in about 4 hours, but 20 miles away in another part of the metropolitan area they got none during the same timeframe. the deluge can be very spotty. normally the phoenix area gets about 7-8 inches total per year. mostly late September through October. some parts of my neighborhood have drains, the rest of the water just runs down the street until it finds one of the drains. my house is on a small hill so I have no worries, some of my neighbors are in low spots so they have very wet problems from the street during our monsoon season. btw, my bike has NEVER been ridden in the rain. the p.o. was from Colorado, bike was stored most of it's life in his garage before he moved to Arizona and never wet(I asked him), and since I've owned it no riding in the rain here in Arizona. makes clean up real easy!

Great looking bike. I find the background of picture intriguing.
Is bike parked on Curb or Sidewalk ? Either way no visible drains. I know AZ is a dry state but surely it rains sometimes?

except for the paint this is about how the bike looked when I found it a year ago. very low miles, runs even better than it looks, it was very well preserved by the previous owner. not hard to keep it looking good here in Arizona, very few if any wet riding daysLeave a comment:

I've seen some very nice photos of xs1100's here. thought i'd include mine. sorry, but the only way I know to do it is to supply a link to my photobucket site: photobucket.com/albums/yy148/xs650mark.com. hope it works. is there an easier way to do this?Leave a comment:
