      I installed different handlebar clamps which are sturdier than the ones that come with this shield and the clamps accept the Street Shield mounting rods. This makes a rock solid combination at high speeds and is much more aerodynamic than the Plexi-Star II I used previously and it gave me a solid 5 mph increase on the top end on a still air day and better gas mileage to boot. Obviously you cannot drink a Pepsi and smoke a Marlboro while riding the thing but who cares, I'd rather have the 5 mph.

        • Ok, here are my bikes, Betty, Bonnie, and Bertha. The last two I sold 80sg "the bandit"gone to VA and 80sh midnight "gone to CA".
          Hobbyman I think we may be brothers.

                            I did the same thing to my SF too. The SF fits me much better than my G. Can't wait to get it back from the shop that 's doin' the crash estimate on it.
