      • Heres my new project. I added the bags, and remounted the seat 2" back, removed phantom pass. seat and repaired 2 holes in rear fender. And added wind shield.






        I have a pair of 05 sportster pipes(10$ ebay) coming. I am putting one in place of whats there.

                Head light, dunno looks like harley. I'll take a pic of the mount this evening.

                The carb filters, yes you have to up the pilot jet size by 1 size. filters+jets+4-1 header = more HP. There usually done at the same time. If you increase air in you have to increase fuel in, and in turn you have to increase velocity of the flow out.

                  Heres 2 more. Head light mount and my new sportster pipe. I trimmed 2" off the end of the header. Other than that no modifacations to install it.
                  Sounds great.
                  I have a sound clip soon as I figure out how to dl it from camra.

                  • Here is mine, a 1979F. First pic is from the bike show this past Fall Rally here in Myrtle Beach, when it won First Place Bobber Trophy.



                    Since then, it has been repainted a Deep Jewel Green with gold Pinstriping

                      the seat will get redone with gel inside so it'll be white to minimize heat damage to me nuts

                          The motorcycle being consumed by the tree in the photo previously posted is in fact an XS650. It's either a '78 or '79 Special.

                          • heres mine 1980 XS1100. Just finished painting & airbrushing it, few more bits to fix-just had clutch rebuilt, new basket, plates-still got to fit actuator parts.
