Bike's loaded and I'm headed out early in the morning.
Rained most of the day today. Quit this evening. It's now 66 degrees.

Forecast is for more rain tonight, and all day tomorrow.

Rain gear's all laid out for the 41/2 hour trip to Salina to meet Bohn.
Will hopefully pull into Canon City around 8:00 pm tomorrow night.

I caged it home today from Ottawa, KS and thought of the boys coming in from OK and KS as I probably followed them in their wet tire tracks across I-70 heading west.

Good deal guys, looking forward to meeting you! rdmcguy said he would be getting down there mid-late morning and check in to the campground. I will get down there a bit later after I get packed and loaded up, probably with CZ as my riding buddy. Looks like some great riding weather for us this weekend from what I can see.

The Caly Three Amigos(Scott,Roo,Mike) called and were stopped at Salina, Utah fueling themselves and bikes. That was bout 11:30a.m.
Scott's bike having the XJ cyl., piston/rings is giving him issues. Apparently rings haven't re-seated and is drinking oil. Has to to check it every hundred miles or so......and add a bunch.
Seems to have turned into an 'adventure', so hopefully they'll be rollin' in Junction bout 4ish.
Either way, gonna have to hustle the 240mi. to make it before dark.....and avoid the forest rats!
