Happy to have others attend...........bout what it amounts to CZ is if you ride an XS/XJ, have past ridden an XS/XJ, sat on an XS/XJ, close enough to touch one, knows someone who has an XS/XJ, saw an XS/XJ in a picture, or just plain like to ride whatever are more than welcome!........that bout covers the prerequisite to attend...............Planedick, glad to hear your plannin on making it!....look forward to picking on you again....

          Thanks, guys
          I'll let him know.
Motoman, have you talked to the campground lately, to see how much space they have left?
George, my friend, says that the camp ground with the train rails going through it is a real nice place. 'Course, he's a train nut, so that may taint his perception a little.
          We'll see you there. CZ

CZ, just let him know there will be a 2007 R1200RT there! As Jerry and Motorman rode their NON-XS bikes out to the Cali-Ralley, I thought I'd return the favor!

CZ, as of a couple weeks ago there was only a couple that have called ahead already. Again, ALL of those who are tenting at the United C. and know they are attending should be calling them, give names and more importantly let them know your part of the XS/XJ bike group. That way they can more easily pre-arrange a designated area. BTW, the tenting area throughout is manicured lawn full of shade trees.

                  Reservations made

Well, I'm committed, made reservations at the Days Inn in Flagstaff for Thur and the Durango Travelodge for Fri & Sat. Planning on starting back on Sunday, but going to Grand Junction to visit a friend, and weather permitting over the mountains on I 70 to the I 15 then south to overnight in Cedar City, UT Monday night and then home on Tuesday.

Just a reminder for those arriving Friday night, July 1. Let Motoman know if you are planning to go to the Bar D Chuckwagon dinner theater ($20.00 per head, includes dinner and stage show) so he can get a count. If we get 15 or so confirmed we can get our own table.

Link to the Bar D page:

                            +2

Count on 2 for Lisa & I - I emailed Motoman directly but posting here to let folks know they ain't the only ones

                            Can't wait.

                            John

PS Jerry - looking at your Scout reminds me of my days knocking around Colorado in my old Scout - I have a really good book of 4WD trails and Ghost Towns you need to see - I will try and remember to bring it.

                              Bar-D Chuckwagon

All those coming to the rally, and KNOW they will be in Durango early afternoon the 1st of July or earlier, and want to attend the Bar-D need to call them yourself and make the reservations...ASAP. Also, let the Bar-D know your are part of the XS/XJ motorcycle group. That way if we were to have a 15head count on there list associated with the rally group they will try and seat us all the same table. Head count includes wifes and any other family members. NO pay in advance , just call and make the res. with a head-count! We NEED to be AT the Bar-D at approx. 5-5:30PM on the 1st! Those staying in town at motels/B&B, etc. can meet at the United Campground 5PM or before, or just drive/ride on up there the 7mi. and meet up at the Bar-D if runnin late, whatever. Other than that, we're all good to go!......and lookin' forward to an enjoyable, safe Holiday week-end!

I'll give them a call! I should be there, but I know I NEED to leave on the 4th. I have to be in College Station, TX on the 5th, so I'll be doing a "mad dash" South!
