Yeah, I'm into a cheap camping site. Talkative senoritas providing margaritas are (at my age) optional.

Old bikers never die, they're just out of sight!

My recently re-built, hopped up '79 Special caught fire and burned everything from the top of the engine up: gas tank, wiring, seat, & melted my windshield all over the front of the bike. Just bought a 1980 Special that has been non oped for 9 years. My Skoot will rise from the ashes and be re named "The Phoenix!"
    I've been riding since 1959.

Ya'know, Ed, I get the distinct impression that Garth doesn't believe a word but I don't remember who got the pictures last year. Viva la senoritas!

I know there are a few members , who can fit 15lbs. of bullshoot in a 5lb. sack

I kidd , any ways Iam setting my bike for long range touring , with a 81h tank on the way and a really bitchen touring seat as well. and I just installed a throttle lock . I found it at cyclegear, there was a vista cruise one for about 35 bucks , but i found another option by NEP for 20 mounted really easy and works good, the only thing I dint like about it is that you cant flick the kill switch with your thumb.

I did go on a ride yesterday only 100 miles but it was fun, up the coast to encinitas then east on leucadia blvd to san elijo hills then up to the elfin forest wich connects to escondido and then down the del dios highway , not a very long ride but very pretty and not much traffic!

              ATTENTION ALL!

Due to some personal reversals and family events, I am pulling out of the rally.
I have canceled my ressie and will not attend.
Someone else can pick up the ball, or you can all bail out.

I will not be there, I will not attend, and I will not provide the food, etc.

              Sorry!

I am very sorry to hear that LOHO. You are a good man and "I love you man!"
Attendance will be "iffy" for me also. Hang in there buddy, and we will see what we can do. Give my best to Cail and SWMBO.

Bummer. I just got back from Arizona again, Loho, and I hope everything improves for you on the home front.

Don't worry about the rally. If you need help (or someone to help spill beer and watch you mess up your bike) I'm just down the road!

Dang.....have to retype....site went wacko. Anyway, since I have a reserved cabin and wife and I are looking at some R&R..........gonna be there, likely a day early so I can hopefully without getting lost take the wife for a ride over the hill down to MorroBay and back.....lost is an adventure anyways, right? The Venturer will be a trailer queen for its first time, so I will have my supercab availible for food, whatever run in necessary. Wife has heard about you all from last year is looking forward to meeting all you crazy XS'ers. Only ones she has met was Ray and his better half when they stopped at my house last year on there vacation pulling the RadioFlyer with the Midnite aboard. Looking forward to swapping lies again so you all better show up(Scott,Mike,Ru,and all the rest), or else we'll have fun anyways witout ya. Way funner if ya show tho! See you all at the KOA! Ride safe and watch out for a crazy cager in a tweaked F-350 power-stroke......it will be availible for food, beer, whatever run!

I STILL plan on going! Ed, I think I've got a nice route, but you and I can ride part of it if we leave early one Sunday and check it!
                              motorman,
If you can provide cooking hardware, we can all chip in for grub, and do things that way. I CAN cook a little, and most of the time no one gets sick! I DO work better with red wine, though!
