We already provide all that detailed stuff but only a few want it. Most just want to follow the person in front of them and RIDE. We really have too much already. Most paper maps, instructions etc we bring gets thrown away because nobody wants the stuff. Plus GPS's works very poorly in that complex maze of mountain roads. They screw up often because of the interconnecting web of roads.
Smaller groups and the buddy system is where this is headed. Plus just A to B routing would make it easier. Some of the best roads take a bit of jockeying to get to so that adds to the complexity of the routes. Simple A to B and go into towns would be easier. The self guided option. No strung out conga line with group leader.
