I plan to attend this year but I won't be on my XS11. It's still in the middle of its rebuild but getting close to being finished. I expect it won't be done by then so I'm planning on riding the HD.

Your HD will be in good company.

Oil change last weekend...New brake pads this weekend. found a set of air shocks and setting them up after the brake job

oil and filter just done...tmrw rear tire change and lube rear splines with Honda Moly 60 paste...possibly do a air shock retrofit as well...would love that...

Spending the afternoon clearing enough space in the garage to be able to change front brake pads. While it is over 30C here Alberta had SNOW yesterday I dare not have the bike disassembled in the driveway as thunderstorms can appear at anytime. Have to get horns and aux lights working again. probably connections that were disturbed during recent engine removal.

Hi Dean.
Not ME I left the bike with Tinman for a couple of days as he said he could fix the broken exhaust stud. then I get the call: Come and help me put the motor back in He fixed the stud which had broken "down the hole"
It is all part of the Adventure of owning Addie
All good now. Lights and Horns are working again. turned out to be connections and a blown bulb so an easy fix...which took all afternoon
Including one side front brakes which gave me a hard time going back together. Must do the other side on Thursday night.

Yep, its me. I have the Garmin files for Saturday and Sunday rides I can send you. PM me with your email address and I will get them to you. I plan to test run the Rally Rides on Sun or Mon so I will send you the file after that. I send to Gary and Ted and George too.

Leaving from Charlotte

Anyone else heading out from the greater Charlotte, NC area? I am planning on leaving after lunch sometime so I am not trying to find the place completely in the dark. Wouldn't mind riding up others! I always take the long way to get to places so looking at 4-5 hrs to get there.
