Remaining lodging as of 13 April

I have just returned from a weekend at the Iron Horse. As of this morning, here is what is left for our rally weekend 26-28 September:

6 semi private rooms (2 rooms share one bath)
Rocky Top 3/4 (good for 2 couples or 4 riders)
Bunkhouse #1 has 5 beds (that's the whole thing, good for 5 XSives)
      4 RV sites w/ electric & water
      8 electric only sites

There is plenty of space for primitive camping, so if you wait until the last minute, this option should still be available.

Planning on it. The money tree hasn't bloomed yet so it's still kinda up in the air. Working on it though.

I want to ride over with JW and his son. Hopefully Bigfoot will be healed up by then too. Not sure what trbig's plans are.

                That's good to hear Greg.
I got a feeling that this year might even be a bit bigger than last.

XS East is shaping up to be at least double this year than last, so maybe XS SE will grow too.

Thanks Ben. I'm doing very well, thank you. Been back to work since November and riding whenever it's been warm enough.

Another great big thank you to all my XSive brothers and sisters who helped me out. It would have been a very much more difficult time without y'all being I was so far from home when I got hurt.

I promise to keep a better eye on the road from now on.

Glad to hear you're back to your old self...I've had a few close calls with the roads on the these rallies...Couple years ago during this rally we were riding into Cashiers NC for lunch we're about 10 mins out out a stretch of snakey road that you really need to be focused on and i went wide left into oncoming traffic lane on a right hander that was blind... luckily no traffic coming...at the last possible second i was able to get the bike slowedd down enough to yank it back to the right and thus avoid a nasty wipe out into a guard rail...so after that for the remainder of the rally i would say white line yellow line...ad nausem ...

Don't think I am going to make it this year guys. Not even sure if I will be able to ride by then so can't really make reservations at IronHorse at this time. Someone else will just have to drink my allocation of beer. I am sure you all can handle that. LOL.

Sorry to hear that but I understand. We are all hanging on the "at this time", so maybe later you can. Hopefully that bone joint will be able to "carry the load" for you by the end of summer. Those support structures take a long time to heal. So, like Tom Bodett @ Motel 6 says "w'ill keep the light on for you". Hope it works out that by the end of September you are walking good on that leg and able to shift that XS11. (guess it was your left knee?) Keep us posted on the recovery milestones.
