I plan on making it again this year but too far off to make a solid commitment at this time. Had a great time 2013 hope this year can be as good.

I'm just posting a reminder that we will have rides scheduled for Saturday and Sunday. To participate both days it's advisable to plan lodging for Sunday night.

Some old XS11 riders went to a retreat in the mountains. To save money, they decided to sleep two to a tent. No one wanted to room with ***** because he snored so badly. They decided it wasn't fair to make one of them stay with him the whole time, so they voted to take turns.

The first biker slept with ***** and comes to breakfast the next morning with his hair a mess and his eyes all bloodshot. They said, "Man, what happened to you?"

He said, "***** snored so loudly, I just sat up and watched him all night."

The next night it was a different biker's turn. In the morning, same thing--hair all standing up, eyes all blood-shot. They said, "Man, what happened to you? You look awful!"

He said, "Man, that *****! shakes the roof. I watched him all night."

The third night was ***'s turn. *** was a big burly guy; a man's man. The next morning he came to breakfast bright eyed and bushy tailed. "Good morning," he said.

They couldn't believe it! They said, "Man, what happened?" He said,

"Well, we got ready for bed. I went and tucked ***** into bed and kissed him good night. He sat up and watched me all night long."

2014 SE XS11 & Vintage Japanese Rally Planning

Well, time to get rolling on the SE Rally planning.

Be sure to make your cabin or camping reservations with Iron Horse Motorcycle Lodge
or at the Tuskeegee Motel a few miles down the highway from I-H.

If you are interested, I'm sure we will also have some chatter
                    on our Facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/XSSoutheast

More on Shirts & Routes & Details in a couple months. We had like 22 ? of the 40 bikes that were XS1100's last year.
Hoping more XS11's will show up this year. A long conga line of XS11's snaking over the Cherohala Skyway, now that is a beautiful sight.

I wonder if I should reserve a gurney on the helicopter.

Naw, I won't do it again.

Thanks for asking Greg. I had a few medical problems this past year that will continue on this year. The last time I rode was at our last SWOXS mancave day, april 7th, and then when I got home I fell getting off the bike:-(.DGXER was nice enough to ride it from my shop to my house last summer....he is not a fairing man but he survived I can't get on the bike yet but it starts right up and sounds good...dirty as all get out but I look the same. If I can get on it and shift it without falling over I may ride the bike again.
I wanna get together with a bunch of other XS11 riders so I plan on being there.

Maybe you'll feel better by then. You have 6 months.
