BUNKHOUSE: A bunk house and wash room with washer/dryer are located on first floor of Cabin 4. $29.95 per night, per bed plus tax. Bunkhouse includes 5 twin beds, price includes all bedding and bath towels.

All rooms have access to laundry room, located in Cabin 4. Plenty of parking availble at your cabin room.
Tent Camping $15 per tent, 1 person per night. $20.00 per tent, 2 people per night. $5.00 each additional person per tent, per night. Plenty of sites along the creek. Does not include towels.
If you want a bed, it would be best to act now. I suggest you make a reservation, even if you intend to camp. In addition to being ensured a spot, the staff will contact you about meals before your arrival. As a group, we dine in the lodge on Friday and Saturday night. Iron Horse Lodge

Question for those of you that have stayed in the Bunkhouse before:
There are 2 bunkhouses (#1 & #2), I think I read somewhere that #2 had the bathroom there, while #1 you had to walk some to get there?
I can't remember which bunkhouse my reservation is for, so either way it'll be an adventure.

Anyway, I'll be bringing some extra earplugs for those that can't handle my snoring.

i stayed in bunkhouse 2 ...1st floor the bathroom was a walk outside acrsoo the covered porch and into the laundry room w/ bathroom...right next to our room.....the room is cheap and the beds are cots...i stayed there the first year...I had cool roomates but the bed wasnt that comfortable...YMMV...
This year i am late to the party...dont have an Iron Horse reservation so I'll most likely stay at the Tuskeegee Motel about 5 miles away. Basically while I do like the iron horse...i do not like their resrvation and cancellation policies. No way i could just sign up and reserve a room a year off and not even know for sure if i would make it...I almost didnt last year. oh and last year i had one roomate and stayed in a cabin with 2 beds...much more comfortable than the bunkhouse...

          Iron Horse Accommodations

FYI: Iron Horse Motorcycle Lodge still has some availability for Sept 27-28-29

I just called Pam at I-H to get an update on the available space. She still has:
          3 Bunkhouse beds
          Tent Camping Space
1 Semi-Private Room creekside $85 (with queen bed)
1 Two bedroom Cabin that can be setup for 4 beds $300 a night (split 4 ways $75 each)
1 Two bedroom Cabin with queen beds $300 a night

If you are interested in a reservation, Iron Horse www.ironhorsenc.com or call (828) 479-3864
If Iron Horse doesn't quite float your boat then you might try Tuskeegee Motel www.tuskeegeemotel.com or call (828) 479-8464

Also, I will be getting off my keister today on the 2013 Rally Shirt. Guess its now well after July 4th as originally planned, woops missed that one. As Marty stated, shirt thread will be posted soon. Getting routes and lunch stops organized too so we can get that posted. Countdown = about 9 weeks till Ride Time

Remember I-H has motorcycle Unload / Loading Dock for easy Off-On if you are arriving with your bike via pickup truck. It is looking like we will have another great turnout of XS-XJ1100's machines again this year.

          See you at the Rally

Got word yesterday that scheduling conflicts will prevent Sally and me from attending this year.

We are able to get away in two weeks so we made reservations near Bryson City for a week of riding around.

You guys enjoy the rally, maybe we can make it next year.

I had a hard time seeing Marty this spring at EAST, he was sometimes so far out in front but it was fun trying to keep up!

Hey Marty, is the Harley award only for East, or should I bring it to SE?

Last year, Brent made a HAULEY AWARD with a black marker and a micro fiber towel. As Mark Anthony said, "You can use the award in the shower!"

but, to get rid of it you have to carry it to the rally ON A BIKE, not in your pickup.
