LAB3, they consider any bike over 35 years old an antique. So for 2023 they would let in any bike 1988 or older for free. Next year my Harley will qualify to be an antique.

Been wanting to get up to New England for several years now but life keeps getting in the way. I'm hoping to do it next year, just like the last three!

I identify as a man but according to the label on a package of Stauffers Baked Lasagne I'm actually a family of four!

Some sidecar suspension maintenance. This Chang Jiang unit does not have a swingarm or shocks. Its a torsion bar set-up like an old VW Beetle. It's a BMW military copy. The rod is spring steel and it twists to give you a few inches of travel. Had to use the heavy duty puller to get it apart and lube the sleeve bearing. There was a little wear but it works fine with very little play.

Remove bearing pack and sand blast. Install new bearing pack and true rim. Always heat the bearing seat evenly. Freeze the bearing and use a tool such as a socket or bearing installer to drive it home without damage.

Some more riding in between work. We ride about 300 miles every Sunday.
