Rear mount. Fabricated a clam shell design that won't rotate under extreme pressure.

Front Mount. All parts painted with Rustoleum Professional. All brush painted to hold up to salted roads. This paint only comes in gallon pails. It's just like powder coating when cured.

My trailer frame and hitch need some attention, how long does that stuff take to set up? Seems I remember it taking MONTHS.

The paint has to be properly mixed. I use a mixing tool mounted to a drill. The trick is to use thin coats. 24 hours between coats. And don't use spray paint. It only lasts a few years in the harsh weather. I had severe corrosion on my snow-bike and this brush paint really holds up to the salt.

Nicely done! I've considered an "outrigger" for lack of a better term for winter grocery getter use.
