  • Yes that is a Can-Am but it had no engine in it.
the owner said that they were going to remove the engines out of the bikes they have left then scrap the frames and all aluminum. So hopefully I just rescued two bikes.

BA80 The bike on the right is an XJ the standard on the left...well I'll look closeer at it tomorrow when I pick them up.

      Hi Coop,
a Can-Am rolling chassis is worth way more than scrap metal price.
I'd still say make an offer.

        • Changed my speedometer today with another off of a 750. This one doesn't look the same as the other one I've had on there though. it has a different face and a kinda green tint to it.

Looked through what was on ebay and they are all like the new one I got.

The old one is at the top. WTF?

I see nothing wrong with this statement... I resembled this remark after work yesterday. I even texted the wife from the backyard to get me more when the first one was empty. It was all down hill after that! The apple trees are well watered now

I wonder if that old one is off a Canadian or European model.

Ya 85 is a strange stopping point. especially on a bike. I Remember having a Suburban that speedo only went to 85 that's a little more exceptable. Hell my diesel speedo goes to 120. course the engine says stop @ about 90

                            I should have looked closer.

Federal regs from '80 till sometime in the '90's said vehicle manufactures could only use 85 mph speedos.
