Wish I didn't have to get rid of the rotors...but I have some nice looking drilled ones to go on...just not as light as those...they look good on your bike though.Guy

"I gotta ask... what's the black tubing thingy hanging down between the fender and the frame?"
That's the fairing mount. I assume there are supposed to be lowers covering it.Nice day, if it doesn't rain...

Yes, you can't see the lenses, in that picture, as your looking a the side, but there are 2 bulbs on each side facing forward.
A little better shot here:

Oh, those rotors. Got a photo with them lit up at night?
With those lit up it'd only need the trick hydraulics that make the bike jump up and down to have folks mistake you for a Mexican.Fred Hill, S'toon

Swapped in the pristine Standard rear fender & light that Andreas sent me.
Again, kudos to Andreas, it's not the first time his parts inventory has helped to keep my machine on the road.
Now that the rear light is moved off the grabrail I can start to build a custom luggage rack.
Alas that the Standard rack & backrest combo that I bought will not fit on my Special without a deal of work.
It'll be going to the Red Deer swapmeet to find a new owner.
Unless some Standard owner here wants it?
Be warned, the mailing charges will inevitably boost the price by ~$50 above a local swapmeet purchase.Last edited by fredintoon; 08-08-2010, 10:01 AM.Fred Hill, S'toon

for the rack + backrest, I'd like to see $25. The chrome should come up OK on a polishing wheel but the ~25% of the thing where the chrome is no more would need to be painted.Fred Hill, S'toon
