I'm going to Crater Lake, The Painted Hills, John Day Fossil Beds, Cascade Lakes Scenic Byway, Mount Bachelor, and Hopefully McKenzie Pass into the Lava beds.... that is if they have the pass open. as of a couple weeks ago they were plowing thru 31 feet of snow @ 5300 ft top of McKenzie pass.... and the boy's that live in the Rockies think they know what snow is

I was thinking the same thing. There should not be a buzz, and it is not a flaw in the model - only individual bikes.

This weekend, I managed to repair the clutch/neutral interlock circuit. The PO had disabled it because the neutral switch was dead. I had replaced the neutral switch a long time ago, but could not locate the correct wire to re-connect it, so I ran a new wire for it. I finally found the wire and reconnected everything so the interlock won't let me start the bike unless the clutch lever is pulled in OR the tranny is in neutral.

JJ Ya the Hero 2 is a great platform. I went in halves with a buddy of mine on this set up. he gets to use it in his jeep wheeling, and I get to use it on my bikes. Eventually we will go halves on another so we each got one.

Yes what you are hearing is the stock Special pipes. they are fairly quite... you hear the tranny and mid-drive gear wine more than you do the pipes... oh and the valves clattering upon themselves. With the radio turned up I hear none of this thou

Wanted to test the 80 special to see if it would fire. Put a battery in and turned on the key...we got lights, that’s a good sign. Pushed the starter button...nothing. Probably because the right controls are not clamped on all that way (only one bolt right now). So I jumped the solenoid terminals and she turned over. Pulled the choke out and she fired up. Still have a ways to go but it's getting there.
