Think I just saw an XS11 on Lapeer North bound in Lake Orion. I was SB in the truck headed to Taco Bell so I didn't get a good look. One of you fellas?

Hey, I could do it, I'll bet it folds up into a nice round sack kind of like a tent, then just bungee it on. Maybe next year I'll bring a tent just to prove I can!

I'm a little famous in my family for being able to carry just about anything on my bike given the proper incentive....

Sorry I'm not going to make that one, its about a two or two and half hour ride to get there and I'm on Tent duty at the garage sale this weekend. Maybe next time, although now their predicting sunny skies all day, at least on this side of the state....course you'll probably want the tent for shade now.....

Next week we'll be at swan lake, never camped out there before but they were the only ones we could find with openings this late over the 4th. When you get out to Gun lake you will have to let me know, SWMBO parents live about 5 minutes from the lake, we get out there almost every weekend. Not much boating, my parents have a jet ski we ride occasionally, like when its running, but thats about it.

Maybe I'll have to start a new thread, michigan members rally, I'd really like to put some faces with all the folks I'm getting to know here.

                            Code:
have a camp fired hot dog
I would be game for that sometime, course I would have to be able to have a beer too! Would have to be after the 4th.

Anyone that lives in the Lapeer/Flint area interested in going for a ride, let me know. I would like to set one up to go up to Houghton and Copper Harbor this summer.

                                Hey jfk,
Keep in touch on that trip.....I attempted that trip a couple of years ago in the fall. I had made no reservations and once we got near Houghton (L'Anse actually) I noticed ALOT of trafffic with vehicles packed with their gear in them. We stopped for gas and then it hit me........."Fall Color Tours"......searched two hours to find a place to stay...in the rain!

Great to hear of another XS in the area!
