Yeah, those cbx's are really nice looking when they are all shined up. SWMBO's dad really really wants a cbx. Always talks about how when he went to buy his first bike thats what he wanted but his dad would only sign for a 550f.
Anyways heres a few pictures I took at the show....

A link to all the pictures I took....

Does anyone know of a Bless of the Bikes closer to Flint? I am in Lapeer.

There is one in chelsea, south of flint but I've never been to it, have no idea when or how big it is. I'd assume its already over for this year though...

What do you get for your 25 bucks? Why would you pay someone to let you ride your own motorcycle on public roads?

Ummm...the title was "Breast Cancer Ride". You get to donate $25 to the Breast Cancer cause and ride with a bunch of other folks interested in helping the cause, and having a fun ride.

No problem dude. We all skim sometimes.

BTW was Fred at that show? Who else puts a sidecar on an XS11.

                            Psycoreefer,

Cool snag on the rack/back rest!
That was the other XS that I saw there, with the side car on it. Notice the shaved seat.......it gave the bike a low center of gravety and put my knees in my chest..... It was a nice looking ride though! And more inportantly a very nice guy! We got to talk awhile, but at the time I was, like my family members said, excited like "A kid in a candy store"!
The picture of the CBX was not the one that I was parked next to.......well at least I don't think so, because he did not have the small tent over it when I was there. I did end up pulling out of the show around 1:00. He then may have put up the tent. He said that he owned every model year that had a change.......or something like that. A couple anyways!!!

Darn......that I didn't get to meet another XS owner and the bike!

Yeah, the one with the tent was in the show not in the parking lot. I had intended to spend some time wandering through the parking area but after I got the backrest I had to figure out how to get it home on the bike, I didn't have any bolts to actually attach it to the bike because it uses different ones then the stock grab bar. I ended up flipping it and then using a bungee net to hold the rack part on the back of the seat and let the back rest wedge down near the tail light.

I think next time I go to a bigger event I'm going to have a shirt that says, I own and XS1100, or maybe one with xs11.com on it or something so that other xs guys can spot me walking around.
