  • Hey Craz,

Let me know if you ever run across another set. I know everything is usually for a reason. If you don't know the reason at first, don't change it later, change it first and you will definitely find the reason later.

    • Honda CT 70!

      My First Bike!!!!
Mine was burgandy red. I jumped that thing over everything I could. I took it everywhere. I was the wheelie king on that baby.

      Mine was a 3-speed with a clutch. I had a neighbor who had a clutchless 3-speed.

I (sniff, sniff) loved that (sniff, sniff) bike!!!

I was planning on getting it licensed when I turned 16 but never did.

        • Thanks Guys. It just turned past 30,000 miles. It is immaculate and I was fortunate to find it. When I saw the add, I was at his house getting it within 4 hours. The only thing I have had to do to it is change a couple instrument bulbs, the Tach and Speedo dampening rubber, and clean the fuel sensor. He had already did a complete change of all fluids and carb rebuild/tune up. It has new break pads as well.

That CT-70 was a complete impulse buy. I was driving home from work one day and saw it out by the street. All my childhood memories can racing back and I had to have it. Stopped and took it for a spin and loaded it up. It runs like a top too. It has 1185 miles on it. It really gives you that "Grin" factor when you ride it around. All the kids love it.

          • My great uncle& aunt had a CT-70, at the farm. Whenever they had a family reunion out there, I would drag the CT out, fix whatever it needed, and we kids would ride it around all weekend.

First time I was 11, fixed a flat tire, cleaned the spark plug.

            My first bike was a 1969 CT-90.

            • My dad got a CT-90 back in 1971. I remember the day he took it down a dirt road in the rain and got the tires really muddy. There was a ditch across the road from our house. Probably 5 feet deep and 10 feet across full of water. It had some nice green tall grass growing on the banks. He decided he would take the bike over there and spin the tire around to clean off the rear tire. Sounded good to me at the time. What did I know?

Well he put it in the low range, popped it in first gear, cranked the throttle full, Bike spun left and he made a spectacular flight into the canal. He actually pulled the bike out himself. Adrenaline plus embaresment helped I am sure.

Anyway that bike was indeed clean as a whistle.

Only question is, have you gotten caught in the rain?
If so, how is the face wash with no front fender?
