Bruce and I have been in VA since Friday, about half way there....leave for IH Friday morning. Looks like I will need a new rear tire so we have to get there early enough to get that done. See you all then. Looks like we will probably stay at IH for a few days after the Rally. See you all on Friday

Looks like the 'Back Fields in Motion'
Many converging on SE today. Looks like there may be a convoy or two going on today and tomorrow.
Don (Tallahassee FL) will be heading north to my house shortly to stay tonight.
Don & I will then meet up with Marty Fri AM for that really long 100 miles to IH.
Brent following us a couple hours leaving by Fri noon.
Mike has graciously lugged the 70 shirts & banners up for us so he's got that part covered. (thanks Mike ) It looks like a plan coming together. Record # of 11 getting gps route files for the Sat-Sun ride. Aviation Prog Charts looks like we might squeak in the best Sat, maybe Sun weather we've had since the drought years when rally was at TWO.

2010 @ TWO was no drought...especially that Sunday...
Yeah, heavy rain all Fri night. Early Sat AM I gave up and rode home to Atlanta. I made it the 45 miles home with no rain. Then the rain really let loose for most of Saturday. I figured I'd rather be home than stuck in that smelly double-wide trailer TWO had out in the back 40. I recall 2010 and 2011 were pretty wet weekends. This year looks to be a repeat of like 2007 or 2008 weather wise.

Beautiful day in Stecoah today! Stopped in at Iron Horse around 5:30 and hung around for about an hour and didn't see any other XSs...
...until I was leaving disappointed. Seen one rolling in just as I was getting to the first intersection so I turned around and met Steve from Texas.
Sorry I won't be able to hang out with y'all this weekend....

Sitting in Nashville with Bob, John, and Ryan. Should be there early tomorrow afternoon. About 630 miles for Bob and I today, a little more for JW and Ryan.
About 270 tomorrow, we're taking the southern route through Chattanooga.
