I doubt the trip will ever be cast in stone. This is a new type of event and we will have to see how it goes.

Rally

Hmm im in SD so some place in teh middle would be great and those dates are rt after the Sturgis Rally LOL be alot of riding but im game.

You have some great ideas.

I wonder if the guys here in the puget sound area could get together in the next month or two some day and see if we could hammer out some details.

Maybe do a day ride then meet over beers and work out a few more details.

I am sure that if you post another pre-rally meeting in this thread, you would get some response. The last meet/greet info was in the idle talk forum and made it harder for folks like me to learn about. I would be happy to run up there for some beers and talk about the rally if I knew about it in advance. I don't need much of an excuse to ride!!

We could get together at my house on a weekend in the next couple of weeks. Call it a planning camp. I bet we could get a ride in also. It is a nice ride west to Raymond and inland to Centralia. Then traverse our way back to my house.

My wife just had emergency surgery last week and will be spending six weeks in a wheel chair, so as it goes, I'll have to stay close to home for a while to help her, but I can probably make it to a one day meeting for sure, but any longer could be a problem. I guess I'll just play it by ear for a while and see what happens. When someone decides on a date, just let the rest of us know.

Wait for it.... Wait for it ........ In the PNW, we sit our garages making Vroom Vroom noises waiting for the rain to quit. When it does we come out like bees from a hive.

I have to attend a family thing this weekend, so rain is OK. Lets shoot for the following weekend. That would be the14-15th. We can grab some beers and burn some chicken Friday afternoon/evening. Saturday, we RIDE!

Oops! I can't do 14-15th either. That is the weekend of the Father's Day Olympia Air Show. A lovely lady reminded me I have other commitments that weekend.

Don't feel bad the 14th and 15th were out for me as well, that's the weekend of my first of many runs to Lewiston Id, for one of my lunch with my parents trips, that I will be making this summer. This one will be more then one day though, I have a family reunion in Kooskia Id. on Sunday, so I will probably stay for that, instead of doing the round trip in just one day, because that will add another 200 miles to the trip. Make that 300, because I'll have to take a run up the Greer Grade a couple of times. I'd ride through hell on a Harley before I would miss riding Greer.
