Y'all are going through Tillamook on Sunday. I'd love to join the ride but I broke my bike today, bent valves putting in cams. You'll want to stop at the Tillamook Cheese Factory. Tourist trap for sure, but the ice cream is awesome. My favorite is the Coffee Almond Fudge, but Tillamook Mudslide is great too. Ride safe, brothers. With any luck (and a new head) I'll get to ride with you sometime.

I have added maps and direction for each days ride. The times on the direction should be pretty accurate. I have a schedule 1 hour lunch break for each day around noon.DZ

Can't join you for the trip due to tight schedule but if your staying the night in Fruitland Idaho end of day 5, I could maybe run up there from boise that evening to at least meet some of you.
Do you know where you are staying in Fruitland?1980 XS Eleven Special

DenyZ,
I hope I can meet the gang when you come through Tillamook. Ice cream at the Cheese Factory is awesome, 50+ flavors. Brent has my cell # and will give me a heads up on ETA. Thanks for the invite. I just spent about a half hour on the US & the Candian tourist information sites. It says on both sites if you are an American citizen you need a birth certificate and picture I.D.( drivers license) to cross the border.I'm going to call the DOT tomorrow to make sure it is accurate.I read earlier in this thread you have to have a passport. That is true if traveling by air.So anyone who isnt going through Canada because they thought they cant. You may still be able to. Just thought I would pass along this info.
I want to meet up in Oysoyos but if my info is incorrect I will go to Sandpoint or Bonners Ferry and catch up there. So I should know tomorrow.
Looking forward to meeting some of you guys.

I am planning on spending the night at the campground on the US side of the boarder from Osoyoos. I am flying without reservations, so I may be sleeping under a rock in the desert.
Tarzan, we will look for you at the boarder.DZ

Sheila and I are getting final arrangements in place too. We haven't been on the road much this year so are planning for a at least a few shorter days before launching into longer-duration riding.
We will be leaving Revelstoke on the 16th and will overnight at Ainsworth Hot Springs resort.
On the 17th, we'll wander our way south via the Kootenay Lake ferry, through the border at Rykerts/Porthill, and follow the same route as the main group to Thompson Falls. We're booked in at the Rimrock Lodge and RV park for two nights. A day ride there with the group sounds great. From there, we will see how our nether regions are holding up.
If shorter days are in order, we've set up an itinerary to go back up to Kalispell for a couple of nights, do a day ride over to the Going to the Sun highway, slip back over to Coeur D'Alene for a night, head north towards Cranbrook or Fairmont Hot Springs, then back to Revelstoke.
If we're feeling up to longer days, we'll stay with the group and work our way back around the full loop to Denny's place.
I've got all of these various routes loaded into the Zumo, so we're just about ready to go.
This is going to be fun!Ken Talbot

Hey Revelstoke
Hey Ken, I am glad to read that you will join the rally, I was hoping you would make an appearance.
So I will go east with the gang until you and Sheila join and then some.
I cannot make the whole run, I have 11 Leonberger pups and cannot abandon Cindy with puppy sitting for too long....
