Hi Flatlander,
I am off to Suches GA to morow with Marty A. He was willing to put one together in Ohio last year maybe we can resurrect that or there is always West Virginia There are no bad roads in WV even the interstate has twisties
I suspect the peninsular would suffer the same reluctance as Canada in May and your handle probably best describes southern Michigan
Virginia was in the lead until it went quiet. However wintr is abetter time to plan this stuff. still lots of good riding days local to most of us.

I'm still waiting for someone to figure out where we are going for the Canadain XS rally.

Hey Phil,
Hope you are having a nice ride.
Michigan does have some good roads and nice things to see and yes rather flat on the east side(). It is more hilly on the west coast though. Crossing the Mighty Mac is cool too.
I'll go to Virginia. Really, I'll go about anywhere!
I had a penciled in trip planned earlier this year to go around Lake Superior, but this fall got kinda busy and had to cancel.Last edited by Flatlander; 09-23-2010, 05:41 AM.Flatlander

Marty has everything ready for a SE Ohio rally including routes, gas stops and accommodations. All he needs is a few nudges me thinks. (Sorry Marty!)
If we do end up there, I promise you will not be disappointed. The roads are fantastic.

I've some tentative routes around Lexington VA. Covers some of the territory we rode in WV on previous trips. Would still have to work out accomodations and dining.
Its up to the group where they'd like to go. Southern OH looks like fun.
Usually XSEast options start firming over the winter once riding season is over and there's nothing to do but repair, modify and look forward to next season.Darrell

Was waiting on Darrell to reply to see how far he had progressed, as he was scouting routes a while back.
Yours if you want it Darrell, say the word. I do have SE OH nearly ready, that is certainly an option.
Chime in folks, and someone check that .org site, see what they are doing. I'm not signed up there.
Off to Gawga with Phil!Marty in NW PA
