              Let's hope the tank weld does better. Like I said, the way this one is broken the pin is still supported and fixed. The only way it could fail is if the other post broke. Was your glued post broken lower where the pin would just be hanging there without it?

                Yes. My post was glued at the base. I had it welded. That was many years ago and many miles. Still going strong.
