Let's hope the tank weld does better. Like I said, the way this one is broken the pin is still supported and fixed. The only way it could fail is if the other post broke. Was your glued post broken lower where the pin would just be hanging there without it?

Yes. My post was glued at the base. I had it welded. That was many years ago and many miles. Still going strong.Marty (in Mississippi)

He does have the cheap-ass pods. The lip definitely decreases intake ID, but it's not flat against the jets. About 1/4" away with the filter all the way on. You think that will mess it up?

You think it will have a major effect not actually blocking the jets? I can't tell this guy another $175 for new pods when he could have a trash engine.
Almost all the cheap pods on amazon have that lip and in two pieces except this one I found.
