(2H7-2139V-00-00) HOOK is the part number for the hook. Probably only going to find one thru Andreas or off a parts bike.

starter clutch slip

A friend has a 650 with a starter clutch slip when it's hot instead of cold like mine. He changed his spark plug gap to .3 from .32 says now it starts every time. A small change can do a lot.
He offered to maybe help me install the kickstarter on my bike.
Can the clutch be removed with the big bolt in the middle or do all the small bolts and springs need to come out?80 G

I kind of recall kicking one once with a foldable kicker, and it seemed to be dangerously close to the side cover. I was afraid it would break if I hit it with my boot. Any clearance issues with yours?2H7 (79) owned since '89
