this is what im wanting to do to my 1979 yamaha xs1100 since a long time. where did you get your sidecar at and the mounting hardware? i have a welder too. any info would be appreciated. gary in Fort Worth Texas

Hi Gary, the M72 CJ750 sidecar is ex military and is well suited to the power of an XS11. I picked this unit up in front of Coney Island in Brooklyn New York several years ago. It needed a lot of work. The bike needed a lot of work. The fabrication work was very time consuming. Most of your questions can be answered by reading this post from the beginning. I tried my best to be detailed in the construction of this project. Hopefully it will be helpful to you and others long after I am gone.
