No its on 4. Figured that way if it caused a problem I could get to it without removing the carbs. Popped the cable off, no change. Made sure to check for any rubbing too.

I did notice this morning that the diaphrams are from a later model. Should have the ones with the adjustable clip needle but these have the washers.

Should I put in the ones from the Georgefix sets? You said dont use the jets so I didnt touch the needles either. No idea whats in them now. My clip pliers isnt long enough to get to the c-clip.

even if it was on the lean side,
the idle/revs mite hang for a little but
it should still return to normal,
when u pull the carbs again just make sure
the throttle valves arent sticking, it only takes 1.
or maybe u havent synced the carbs properly.
hold the carbs up to the light and have a look at each
throttle valve and see if they all look like there in the same
            or at least close position.

A couple of picks work well. I put the needle lightly in the vice, just enough to hold it from flying out, remove the clipthen hold your hand over the top of the slide and release the needle. It'll pop up and hit your hand instead of flying across the room.

              Reverse to reinstall.

Check around, you can get just the bowl gaskets. That's all you really need.

Ah ha! I didn't think about picks. Great idea.

I don't need gaskets anymore. I bought 4 kits from George a couple weeks ago to not only replace the gaskets but also all the idle screws. Unfortunately he doesn't sell just the screws. All the jets that came with are sitting in a bag in case I ever need them.
