looking forward to seeing the finished product!
Well I have to do something to keep me out of trouble :-) The garage only looks great cause you can't see what's hanging from the ceiling LOL LOL. If I didn't have the 10 foot ceiling I would be in a bad way ...

Body Pro rubber renewer busy at work dissolving 30 years of oxidization. Once done in about 1/2 an hour these rubber parts will be like new. Not just clean ... also soft again.

Those with an eye for detail will notice that almost all of the rubber grommets are installed or sitting where they go. Wiring harness goes on tomorrow followed by the engine if all goes well :-)

WOW .. That's perfect Paul. I'm going to Ottawa fastener to get a bunch of SS hardware this morning then it's work on the bike for the rest of the day. What time frame do you think your going to be in town?

                      Hey Rob,
Where did you get that bodypro rubber retorer?I am in the middle of a complete teardown of a Virago and would like to use some of that on all the rubber.

I got it at a auto body shop supply shop. The owner by chance also does vintage autos so he had a full line of these products. On the back of the bottle it says made for UAP

                          Moving Along

OK I Have the wiring harness installed, rear fender, battery box and placed as many SS bolts as I have that fit as replacements for stock units. I will be trying to do as much as is possible in SS Allen socket head bolts..
                          As usual ... more pics...

Will it work on the carb intakes?

I'm not sure if that's going to work. I have never used this stuff on rubber parts that have been exposed to fuel or fuel fumes... In any case it will remove any regular oxidation that is related to normal contact with the air and exposure to sun light ...
