except for the paint this is about how the bike looked when I found it a year ago. very low miles, runs even better than it looks, it was very well preserved by the previous owner. not hard to keep it looking good here in Arizona, very few if any wet riding days
yeah, we don't get it often but when we get it we get drenched. one day in october I got 3" in about 4 hours, but 20 miles away in another part of the metropolitan area they got none during the same timeframe. the deluge can be very spotty. normally the phoenix area gets about 7-8 inches total per year. mostly late September through October. some parts of my neighborhood have drains, the rest of the water just runs down the street until it finds one of the drains. my house is on a small hill so I have no worries, some of my neighbors are in low spots so they have very wet problems from the street during our monsoon season. btw, my bike has NEVER been ridden in the rain. the p.o. was from Colorado, bike was stored most of it's life in his garage before he moved to Arizona and never wet(I asked him), and since I've owned it no riding in the rain here in Arizona. makes clean up real easy!

Just bought a 1980 Special that has been non oped for 9 years. My Skoot will rise from the ashes and be re named "The Phoenix!"
