At the Gunnison KOA
Things are going well at XS Gunnison
Bonz, Jerry, Joe & Jeff at the KOA. Harry and Russ at the nearby Rodeway.
Excellent dinner last night at the Palisades restaurant that Bonz recommended (thanks Bonz). Food was really good. Killer chicken fried steak
KOA Gunnison
Got my tiny 'A' digs all setup
Had a good nights sleep
Leaving at 09:00 for a short 200 miler over Monarch Pass and down to Saguache and return. Planning to meet the California contingent this afternoon at the KOA.
Sun, moon & stars must be in alignment, Photobucket seems to be behaving today and the KOA internet is working perfectly. Pics loaded right up. Will post more later today.

Thanks Brant! We are anxiously awaiting their arrival.
Great ride up, on and down Monitor Pass this morning. Obligatory Photo Op at the summit. 11,315 ft.
Group lunch at the Oasis in Saguache. Met up with the Kansas contingent there. Bohn & John. Relaxing lunch then nice ride on CO114 over the pass back to Gunnison. About 200 miles. Had FUN
Will try and post a few pics from the campground.

El Toro
El Toro Greeting us to Gunnison
the mighty El Toro rides again this time in KOA Gunnison
btw: A really cool XS11 if you've never seen it in action
camp speed limit is 10 mph but there are apparently no restrictions (yet) on 9mph throwing a 30 foot gravel rooster tail. mooing, with tail wagging, and etc. & etc. taking care of business. A big hit with the kids (and adults) last evening.
Like the Tequila "coolest man in the world" nope, El Toro is the coolest

Great ride yesterday. Something like 330 miles.
Nice loop on CO92, CO133, Aspen, CO82, Independence pass, US24 and return with great late afternoon run on Monarch Pass US50.
Lunch stop at Los Cazadores in El Jebel.
Black Canyon of the Gunnison (North Rim)
Rest stop at the Top of the World (well almost)
Bonz did a great job herding us cats, organizing the ride and leading us home safely on the ride. Hope to post more later if internet keeps working.
