    I like this:
"...carries more sport bike replacement parts because sport bike riders do most of the crashing in his area..."
    Opportunistic, good entrepreneurial spirit!

Probably find they have the insurance companies phone numbers posted by the phone...

We'll have to stop and check out their coffee.

He was talking about Ken at Wheelers over by Deals Gap on 129, sorry about that, it was taken out of context. The new place is suppost to have a little of everything. Over 300 tires and open on Sat and Sun. I think it's great.

The TWO list is now a google group, for those interested in joining. twowheelsonly@googlegroups.com, I was signed up automatically so I am not sure how you join. Lots of useful info.

I see, he was comparing himself to Wheelers.

Still a nice looking joint, and we have another source for tires!

            TWO rally news

Please note my screen name has changed, my PM's became impossible to use. I tried to make everything the same.

I got an email From GT, forwarding one he got from Rob, that he MAY not be sponsering this rally anymore. I am sure he will contact me at some point, if he decides to go this way.

I will make sure rides and activities are complete, just in case. Is there anything we would like to do? I would like have the cook out again, but not sure how to do this, and ride all day. I wonder if we could get it catered (by TWO) or someone else? Any thing you like don't like about the rally? Anything you like?

If Rob still decides to run the rally, then these are still good ideas. Any ideas are welcome.

Just to be clear, the rally is still at TWO, GT and Britt will still host it. Rob's involvement is not clear at the moment.

TWO!! You know what there food is like.
They put on a luau for the Ga side car club 'howdy summer raly' in June. Club charges $20 for rally includes door prizes, trophies etc. I am not sure what the food costs, but it must be less than $20. Oh! and the "buffet" as they call it, is like calling thier "Big A## Burger platter" just another little fast food hamburger. It comes with Even a whole pig with apple in mouth. TWO was featured as a "Great Destination" in motorcycle Consumer news last month. I expect an increase in crowds there.

Let me know if I can help. like I need a reason to ride up there, Haha. I believe rally may now have a life of its own, and XSpect it to be as good as last year. and that was good.

                Since you asked, what I did not like or could have been better;
I missed gleaning some pearls of wisdom from our pre-ride safety talk "remember, when your HEAD is accross the center line, YOU are accross the center line."
The lunch at Cohotta Lodge was a little expensive and upscale for my tastes. OK, but I like the mom & pop independents with character.
Ride leader missed turn. Amazingly, rest of group stayed together & on course.

Quote for that day; "I must hurry after them, for I am their leader."

                  TWO Rallye

I recently joined the Yamaha Triples group (I have two Yamaha XS750SE triples) and let them know about the vintage rallye. Maybe we will get a few of those guys. I am looking forward to this ride as I missed last year's. . . . . Bohn

Originally Rob's company 'Motorcyclecarbs.com" put on the rally and Rob put on a big Sat night cook out. Last year was kind of different than past years.

                              Indy,
Glad to hear you can make this rally.

info - North GA has some of the best MC roads in the country, (Twisty). We have also strayed into TN, NC & SC on some of our day trips.

It is called a vintage or classic Jap bike rally and those are featured. The XS1100 is well represented and is of course "Best" All bikes are welcomed. The planned rides stay on paved roads, but there are many forrest service roads in the area for dual-ports. Weather there is good for riding or camping . I do not expect any frost in September and doubt that the leaves will be changing colors for another 2 weeks. (Less leaf looking tourist traffic)

                              see TWO web site.

                                Another campground near Suches

Skeenah Creek Campground is about 12 miles from TWO, away from Dahlonega. They rent Rooms, RVs, and have tent and RV sites. They welcome motorcycles, have nice facilitys. I love to stay there cause its a real beautiful place. There is an old mill built in 1848 on the property. If you cant get a room at TWO and dont wont to sleep in a tent check em out. There # is 706-838-5500 or skeenahcreekcampground.com
