Nope! I have a nice big cozy shop for all the scooters to sleep in.

Since, I can't attend any of the Rides, I might try to swing by the "Place" in the Morning to meet some of you. Since I drive by it every morning. Hope everyone has a safe trip today.

          Rockjok Spotting

Hi to all you great PNW XSive's!!! Hope you are having a great ride Denny's Rally.

I spotted one of your attendee's and his passengers in Prinville, OR. on Monday, 8/13. I was gassing up and taking a break on my way home from a ride to the Bronze, Blues, and Brews festival in Joseph, OR when saw a guy with a side car pull into the pump I just left. The bike was a XS and one of the dogs looked very familiar. I parked my bike and walked over and asked, "Isn't your dogs name Hoover?" You should have saw the look on Robs face. It took a minute for him to remember where we had met. The last time I saw Rob was at the last Rally I went to at Denny's. I have to admit I remembered Rockjok, but had to ask Rob what his real name was.

Don't know if you'll get this before Rob shows up for the Rally or not. Rob was going to try to meet you guys in Astoria but didn't think that was he would be able to make it in time. He was looking for a spot in the Cascades on his way west to set up camp for him and the dogs.

I haven't been keeping up with the web page and probably haven't logged in for close to a year. Don't know if any remember or not, but I bought a '96 Royal Star (BlackMagic) 4yrs ago and sold my '80 Midnight (Madness) about a year later. I still recieve emails from the allxs1100s yahoo group, but mostly just lurk.

I have to work the night shift on Wednesday. There is an outside chance I could make a quick ride up there on Thursday night. It would be great to get up there to see ya all again.

Hope you all have a great time this week.

              PNW 07 Rally

Hi DZ, Home safe and sound. Pulled into the driveway at 3.45. Had an uneventful trip besides a little rain just north of Shelton.
Many thanks for a great rally. You are an entertaining and gracious host.
The ride around Mount Saint Helen will live long in my memory bank. Everyone one who took that ride I'm sure will remember the roads, the views and running about 5 over something all day long. Tee Hee
              See you on the road.

Dave, ride at every opportunity. Nothing helps more than experience. Seat time will will give you the confidence to progress with your riding skills faster than anything else.
Happy trails, keep on trucking, see you in the future.

I have nearly all the pictures I took from the Rally in the homepage. I will finish uploading them once the ISP repairs my server connection.

                        The page is at:
