LOL. Sorry Jim, I forgot. That was intended to encourage Brent to forsake his HD for the trusty special.

                  Tom,

I looked for the 'tire ripping and peg scraping tour' and came up blank. May not be our rides after all

Oh thanks for the reminder. If I do not make a payment, that fickle HD leave me. gone with Repo man. But either way that Loyal XS1100 will be available for riding. I may put a Standard tank on and bring it to this rally. I have been trying to put the miles on the HD (unlimited mileage warranty).

While I do like to see some beautiful examples of like new stock XS1100 bikes, and some interesting an innovative modifications, I Really enjoy seeing the people. XSives I like to ride with, learn from, and socialize with, make the rally.

Is there a campfire spot near this cow shed? Looking forward to some Unbelievable, true stories.

On different makes of bikes - they are all good, except for those poor specimens neglected untill they no longer run. Then it is Operator Error.

Hamjam experiencing Pon Far - maniac mating drive, but only once every 7 years. Gee, so sorry about that, Jim.

Tom - we were on some of those roads last year. Hopfully this year will be even better.

Yeah we NEED a rally! -6 degrees F this morning, can't see the pavement for the snow.....yuck!

So far only 2 of us have registered for rooms.....

it is true that it is once every seven years for a male vulcan
but for humans such as myself, it happens once every year but lasts for only 365 1/4 earth days days

                              Reservations

Yesterday I made reservations at the Cow Shed. I reserved a room with two full size beds, refrigerator and microwave. However, the young lady taking the reservations said that due to the layout of their Hotel, I'd be away from the other two XSives who'd already made reservations. She didn't take a credit/debit card number either. Nor did she take my address, just my name.
She assured me [I asked THREE different times during our conversation] that I WOULD have THAT room reserved for our time frame ------ Memorial Day Weekend. Another odd thing was that she didn't know the room number yet.
                              I'll probably call back on Monday during regular business hrs. and confirm again. Besides; I forgot to specify a smoking room. :}
I'll see you there on Friday, May 26th and will hopefully have a room reserved!
Perhaps this is the wrong thread for my next statement, but, -- --
I would have liked to have seen JetMechMarty's , Almost Heaven XS11 West Virginia , 2006 XS East, Rally name suggestion in the Rally Name Poll. 'Just a thought.
                              Everyone have a Merry Christmas,

Its to late to changes the the poll ,but if there are enough write in vote for any name I will make a 2nd poll up in case of a tie its a flip of the coin or a quick talk between those that are planning . So if you want to do a write in vote do it on the poll thread and at the end I will go though all the replies and see what we have.
