Yep done better than I woulda.
Dena, and Rob is Randy's brother, Jon is Brent's brother. Isn't that white beard Bob Laton? I am the worst for doing this...
The list is not ready for prime time yet. Hold on.
Gene, it's the bike, dude. We're just along for the ride...Marty in NW PA

I screwed up a couple of entries, and discovered it after I sent the first version to Gary. Then I sent the revision and Gary replaced the first file with the second one, which you won't notice since he didn't change the link just the file on the server.
Seems my Mozilla is having problems recognizing my own file.
We did have some nice bikes and the count was very close for some of the bikes. With just a couple of votes different it could have gone a couple of ways.
I think everyone wins at these rallys, and I wish everyone could win an award. I think we had a great time, we had a great group, we had good timing, we had great weather, and we had great roads. So we all win!Last edited by MartyA; 06-03-2006, 08:49 PM.Marty in NW PA

The Trip
All in all, we plugged our tire six times on our trip. Three of those times were on Monday. It was very frustrating. We would have to pull over, find the hole, plug it, and then hope that it would stay. This may not sound too difficult, but let me remind you that it was all done in the ninety degree sun. We really took a leap of faith when we plugged the tire, but what else could we do? There were no tire shops open. We had to stay the night in Virginia. We got up Tuesday morning and found Suzuki Mountain Tire and got a new tire. So we finally made it home Tuesday night at about 6:30PM.
Once, when we pulled over for the third time on Monday, two kind locals stopped to help us. One was Bob Goodman, a fellow rider. Bob was kind enough to drive his pickup truck to the convenient store to purchase us some more plugs, as we were out. Another lady whose name still remains unknown to me stopped and offered to let us use her cell phone. However, it was of no help because even the best of connections don’t work when you are in such a rural area as we were.
To answer many of you all’s questions; yes we made it home safely. Thank you for your concern. It is a great big beautiful world out there
