    • Briefly since there are 20 pages of posts to wade through -

Most people arrive Friday, mostly eating at their convenience. The Cow Shed has a fair menu.

      Saturday
Breakfast at the Cow Shed or any other place you find, START EARLY as we meet in the Cow Shed parking lot, we leave at 8:30.

Lunch at about 1 PM in Pikeville, KY.

Supper about 7PM at the Cow Shed, or wherever you like, but be at the Cow Shed as we have awards and door prizes.

      Sunday
Breakfast wherever you like, Kickstands up 9 AM at the Cow Shed parking lot.

Lunch at Hawks Nest lodge after a visit to the New River Gorge.

Supper at your leisure, for those who are staying.

That is the plan, and of course we do sometimes make adjustments as needed.

During the ride, we ride staggered, and you might get a "one" signal to get into single file if the road narrows or construction. Mostly we just ride and have fun.

      Did I miss anything?

            • I had ASS-umed that we were having breakfast at 9AM, then on to Pineville.

After all, I know you and Robin are starting before the sun comes up, right? I'd think a meal stop would be in order. Then again, is there ever a bad time for a meal stop?

                    • BTW I am not getting email updates to any of the messages I have subscribed to on XS11 dot com; don't know what the problem is I think my profile is corrupt.

And the forum opening page says Welcome Back Martya, then when I try to post I am suddenly unregistered and have to log in.

In case you don't hear from me.....

Depends on what you want to do on 5/26. I was planning to meet Greg and do the "gorge" on the way down. Now, it's 350+ miles to Pineville from Chambersburg that's 7 hrs. saddle time plus stops/lunch so figure 8+ hrs. From experience, things don't happen as planned and group riding takes much longer. So leaving at 9AM buys us an hour. Leaving at 10AM puts us in Pineville at 6PM without hooking up with Tonto. I know Greg would like to meet with us and give a tour but don't know his schedule limits yet. So I'm open to suggestions.
