  • The way I understand it, there will be riding, eating drinking then repeating right?

Ben owes you a beer? Beer is for wussies. I'll bring an Arrogant Bastard for you! One should last a couple of days.

Well, we tacitly allow ST's, but mostly we just leave them alone. They tag along, we just don't acknowledge them, unless they start dropping parts along the route...

I spoke with the manager yesterday and they have reserved18 non-smoking and 12 smoking rooms under Darrell Newcomb for 27-29May11 (a computer problem wouldn’t accept XSEast 2011 - this doesn’t mean I’m buying!) The rate is $59 plus fees per night. You don’t have to reserve all three nights.

27Apr11 will be the reservation cutoff date. I expect most of us will have reserved by then. You can cancel up until 6:00PM day of check-in.

Now, I’ll have to work on some dining venues.
Just a reminder to those who have not yet booked.
AND check for the TShirt thread and order that at the same time.

                • Maxim,

                  Thanks for providing the reminder.

Saturday night dinner will be at Salerno's a local pizza place. I asked for room for 50. A buffet of pizza, pasta, parmigan chicken and salad will be provided, $13 a head. A pretty good deal. Earl can vouch for the food, we ate there last August.

Sunday evening eats will be freelance though I intend end the Sun ride near Pink Cadillac.

Both the boys were on FTX this past weekend so I'll be heading down this Friday to run the routes and firm up other arrangements. If the weather is good and the bike is running well, I plan to ride down.

Since this is a hotel vice a motel I'll check on parking lot activities. I've all my tailgating gear so if the Super8 is OK with it I plan on setting that up back.

Madbiker, do you still hold the Rally banner?

                  • Well, I was driving the rally routes around Lexington when Chris said, "Hey, there's and XS11 on Craiglist in Alexandria VA for $50."
                    "A runner"
"Sex, it smokes bad but yes, a runner."
Darn, it'll be gone by the time I get home. It was.

                          • Sounds like Phil will be coming from the North now..... I wonder if I will have to show him the way as well as them other two charactors....

Just thinking here... I think that will have to be a YES because his bike likes to stay close to it's mechanics on any long distances.

I'm still planning on the long ride to XS East. I don't know for sure what day I will arrive, but still planning to at least meet some of the right coast XSives. See "The plan" in the members lounge.
