Thanks Chuck...the reality is that I will be heading to CT for a Honda event the following weekend and I just dont have the funds for 2 trips..gas,food and lodging...although I've been offered a place to crash sharing a room for the Mystic ride...I just dont have the time to be gone that much in one week...the honda event is part of another forum known as ST-Owners.com. There are actually 2 or 3 others here at ch11 that along with me belong to both forums...I used to own a'95 ST1100 so I have many friends over there and have not seen or ridden with them but once this yr.

In preparation for the upcoming event, I just completed my first mechanical endeavor ever, the Mike's XS Green Coils upgrade. Thanks to the wealth of information on this site, it went smoothly...

Or so I hope, I sent my gas tank out for a "permanent" fix, as it started leaking yet again. I have a friend with a body shop, so the price was right!

The downside is I can't fire her up until Sunday.

I'm booked. Let me know your planned route and ETA so I can figure out a place to meet for a local ride to the Motel and depending upon time, a Hot-dog stand lunch stop.

I'm booked, our ferry arrives at New London at 1:30 on Sat. I can be at the Motel 6 area 2-2:15, allowing time for disembarking and the short trip to the hotel. I have a 3pm ferry back to LI on Sunday.

I have a 3 hour ride, but plan on leaving a bit early to account for traffic and whatnot.
