North/South doesn't matter, May/June/July, as long as its a bunch of Xsives and I put the correct date in my head this time, I'll be there. My personal preference is North, but I'm kinda biased.

Oh yeah? Wait till the US dollar comes back......

If you guys have roads with curves please share!!! There is a lot of real estate up there to choose from, can you get a little more precise as to the location(s) you are considering?

            Calabogie?

I belong to another online forum for the ST-Owners....they are planning an event in Aug.There is a place in Calabogie...right on the lake called Jocko's Beach Resort...they have 11 motel efficiency units each with 2 queen beds and a kitchenette...there are several outdoor BBQ's and a firepit with a nice view of Calabogie lake.Down the road is additional lodging in the form of the Calabogie motor Inn.Dont know what the prices will be in '09 but this year both places are $89/nite.Although I personally do not know this area...the ppl organizing this do...and they say there are lots of great roads to ride...and not so much traffic..so I guess this area is eastern ontario...have to look at a map...

That's right Ernie,2 hours or less. It is one of the area's most motorcycle riders head to in the summer time!

I live about a half hour away.

                  Well aren't you lucky! (lol)

Will have to travel out there this summer, once I fix the ^%&&&^(^ float valves/seats and stop the leaking.

Yes this is true from what the organizers for the STOC event say...you have to make reservations for summer events as early as possible 'cuz the lodgings do book up solidly.the ppl I know from the ST website live in Napanee,ON.met them in CT last year.I'd be going to calabogie this year...'cept i cannot get the time away from work.So naturally when this topic arose I thought maybe this would be good for us?So July or Aug would be the best? When is the black fly season?
