LOST seems to be lost...
I posted the following (in quotes) in the 2019 Colorado Rally thread:
"Living in the state of ILL, I checked the LOST thread, there doesn't seem to be any evidence of life. That said, and the invite extended therein, has me considering making the 2020 Colorado Rally. Beautiful country, and if I ever get my final drive swapped out, I can sustain highway speeds without cringing at the sound of my engine.
I don't post much, but have been a member for a while, so I've read a few posts here and there. Anyway, the more I look at my XS11LH, the more I love her, and I'd really like the chance to meet up with some of you good folks and enjoy some nice rides on her. Looks like the event might wind up on my bucket list here shortly. You only live once, you know. Keep the info coming as you can, and as the time gets closer my plans can become firmer."
I did so because I kinda want to attend a rally, having never done so, and the Colorado run seems closest and the kind of country I'd like to see. There was an invitation extended for those that want to attend a rally but don't have one close, that I'm currently aware of. It was suggested that I re-post it here, to see if anyone was interested in a LOST rally, which is regional to me. What does LOST stand for anyway? Anyone know what the format is? Just wondering if it's a semi- go-out-and-get-lost type of thing, or what.
At any rate, I'm trying to see if there's any interest or willingness to participate. I don't know that I would be capable enough to host such an event, but if it looks like something decent will pan out and it works in my schedule, I would be more than willing to contribute what I can to help make it better for everyone involved. Some good bike miles, good scenery, and good company would definitely help one who is tired of the world, and all it's inherent drawbacks. Got to keep the scales balanced, or you fall off the edge.
Anyone?
Regards
