First time working on multiple carbs on the Trashboat
Yes, but you may want to drop that tang that bumps the float post so the float can not drop quite so far. They tend to bind up if you let them drop to far.

When it first started up, it skyrockets. When it warmed up, it was pretty nice.
Later as it warmed more, it got a little rough.
So I wondered...
I pulled number 1 plug wire while it putted along. No change. At all. Plug wire would put weak sparks against block when running.
Number 2 will kill the engine when pulled. Same with number 3.
Number 4 zapped me when I touched it and that ended the test because the engine wouldn't stay idled and I killed the battery trying to keep it idling.
So when I get the battery charged up, I'll check number 4 plug wire.
But. It cruises with no load now. It doesn't like to. And it's kinda rough. But it's better than nothing at this point. I'll take a video next time I get it running and I pull the wires

Sounds like you are running on #2&3, with 1&4 not doing much.
The left hand coil is the 1&4 coil, so check the resistance through the primary and secondary windings. You should get the same spark intensity through both plugs when the coil fires. If you don't, look for leakage in the high tension wires to ground, defective plug caps and/or resister in the cap, fouled center electrode of plug, wrong gap in plug, etc.
The site was moved to a new server and a weeks worth of posts have bit the dust.
Well it's better that reason than what I thought happened. On other forums I have seen posts deleted because of bad product reviews n such.
Well, tomorrow I get some packages in the mail, and the coils should be one of them.
I haven't touched the bike in a week and I'm getting anxious to make this darn thing run like I know it can.
Right now I feel as though I went backwards, it at least ran before I changed out carb internals and such.
Now it's being temperamental and I gotta figure out why.

Just a heads up, I've seen those MikesXS coils burn up if you are running the bike and testing for a dead cylinder by pulling one of the plug wires off. Make sure both plug wires are connected when running and you should be fine with them. GL.
I'm pretty electronically retarded..... Plus I really don't wanna fry these things...
Which primaries are positive and negative?
The coils are marked that way, and I really don't wanna fudge up
Also. Never messed with these kinda coils.... I suppose I just push the wires into them and make sure they bottom out, making the spear tip in the coil poke into the wire making the connection?
I simply went to remove the connection to heat shrink it and the entire damn plug came with it.
I'm livid. OH AND GUESS WHAT. The other connection is getting ready to do the same thing, I went to slide the connection off and I saw the entire thing move instead.
