Can you eleborate on the carb swap please? What year? Why was it the best thing? I'm intrigued.

The 750 & 850's had a different gear ratio in the final drive. Putting it on an XS/XJ1100 will drop your RPM (IIRC about 500?) for the same given speed compared to stock.

I believe the 850 final drives are a little more stout than the 750's. I believe there is a tech tip on how to install one...
